How to win a war on drugs

From the perspective of a thirty year drug chemist and in researching area’s few dare to go. I came out a healer of mass proportions for addiction, childhood and past traumatic experiences, depression, bipolar and many other mental health issues.

In the link below, you will find a good article in Scientific American about my fight for the re-scheduling and decriminalization of MDMA and its “twitto’s” or cousins.

It is interesting in the article that they mention how elusive pure cAMP MDMA is to synthesis!

And this is where I step in. I can and do contribute my understanding of the chemistry of MDMA and how one would go about making 6 kilos of it rather than 6 grams. It’s a whole new world, new starting material and reaction sequence used to produce it in this quantity. And few have the long experience with it as I do with phenethylamine chemistry. It is nice to share knowledge with groups like maps.org and the scientific community on obtaining such large amounts needed for treatment. Donating monthly money does help, but I find it boring, and I can do more.

There are many more articles I could attach that I have worked with/on, but they are more scientific and not for the general public. This one seemed an easy read and needed to be less scientific.

I expect to see in my lifetime the re-scheduling of MDMA out of Schedule I and into a proper category where it can be examined more by the scientific community. But in general, the scheduling of new foods and drugs should not be done by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), but rather the NIH (National Institute on Health)!

I look forward to the day of the total collapse of the DEA. It has caused unimaginable damage to the citizens it pretends to protect. It is as corrupt as the gangs it targets, and with it, no one wins.

Do you want to win a drug war? Decriminalize the drugs, and you will have effectively removed the gang’s monetary supply; thus, they will cease to exist. It is just that simple.

To the Canadian lawmakers and our Prime Minister: take a stance towards decriminalizing and allowing research on small amounts of these non-addictive medicines; you will have won my vote. And the voices of my many followers.

If you’re the idiot still trying to strengthen drug laws and ban unknown cures, I’ll be the one exposing you to a society that wants relief and not more body bags. It is a straightforward decision to win your war on drugs, decriminalize them and then treat the addicted. It’s a mental health issue, not criminal behaviour.
